ASEBA - Ages 6-18 Module
Teacher's Report Form for Ages 6-18 (TRF)The TRF is designed to obtain teachers' reports of children's academic performance, adaptive functioning, and behavioural/emotional problems. Teachers rate the child's academic performance in each subject on a five-point scale. Space is also provided for reporting cognitive and achievement test scores for the child, if available. For adaptive functioning, teachers use a seven-point scale to compare the child to typical pupils for how hard he/she is working, how apprpriately he/she is behaving, how much he/she is learning, and how happy he/she is. The TRF has 118 problem items, of which 93 have counterparts to the CBCL/6-18; plus additional items appropriate for teachers, such as items concerning school behaviours that parents would not observe (i.e., difficulty following directions, disturbs other students, disrupts class discipline). Teachers rate the child for how true each item is now or was within the past two months. The TRF scoring profile provides raw scores, T scores, and percentiles for Academic Performance, Total Adaptive Functioning, the eight cross-informant syndrome scales and six DSM-oriented scales that are also scored from the CBCL/6-18 and YSR, Internalizing, Externalizing, and Total Problems. French Report Forms are now available which can be scored using the english profiles. The Assessment Data Manager (ADM) for Ages 6-18 (School-Age) includes the CBCL/6-18, TRF, and YSR, enabling you to compare any combination of eight forms per child. COMPONENTS
